Museum
Collection
The museum collection consists of
a modern mechanized reservoir of core. (The core is a cylindrical
rock column, procured by way of column boring. It is a geological
record of the place and the main source of geological information.) In
Vievis museum the core obtained from over 2-kilometre-depth boring (1.08
l) has been stored (1953-1999), as well as the exposition of field
boulders (displayed in the area of 4.20 hectares).
